Application Process

To be considered for the Tulane University Preventive Medicine Residency Program, two applications are required:

1) The Universal Application for Residency application: http://www.nrmp.org/res_match/about_res/univappl.pdf

2) The School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine application: http://www.sph.tulane.edu/admissions/admission_info.HTM

In addition, applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Dean's letter
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Official medical school transcripts
  • Statement of career goals
  • Current curriculum vitae
  • Copy of current unrestricted state medical license
  • Copy of internship certificate of completion
  • Official, original USMLE score reports

All applicants must be licensed to practice in at least one state or territory of the United States and be eligible for unrestricted licensure in Louisiana.
